The six main cast members of Friends have all had high-profile relationships over the years. However, only one of the cast members has never been married. This cast member has been engaged, but the engagement ended up falling apart, and the couple broke up before the bride-to-be could make it down the aisle. This cast member has had a few long-term relationships, but has yet to finally seal the deal on one of them.
Several of the Friends cast members are divorced. Actually, four of them have been divorced and have been divorced for quite a while now. So while they are not all currently married, all but one member of the cast has actually said "I do." So, which cast member of Friends has yet to be married in their life? Let's take a look and see.
6 Lisa Kudrow Is Married
Lisa Kudrow is married to a French advertising executive named Michel Stern. They got married on May 27, 1995, and are still together today with an adult son named Julian Murray Stern. Kudrow's husband was born in France and emigrated to America for work. Lisa told Good Housekeeping that she met her husband when he was dating her roommate. She had a crush on him then but respected her roommate's relationship with him. She thought he was "the perfect man" when they met. He ended up breaking up with her roommate a couple of months later and remained friends with her. Six years later, Kudrow met him again at her roommate's birthday party, and the two of them "just never stopped," she said. In fact, Kudrow is the only cast member from Friends who is still married today.
5 David Schwimmer Was Married
David Schwimmer is the most recent of the Friends cast members to tie the knot. He began dating British artist Zoe Buckman in 2007, and they wed in 2010. They have a daughter together who was born in 2011. Sadly, the two announced their amicable split in 2017. They told Us Weekly in a joint statement that "our priority is, of course, our daughter's happiness and well-being during this challenging time, and so we ask for your support and respect for our privacy as we continue to raise her together and navigate this new chapter for our family."
4 Matt LeBlanc Was Married
Matt LeBlanc was married to English actress and model, Melissa McKnight, from 2003 to 2006 and the two share a daughter together. McKnight had a previous marriage before she married LeBlanc, and shares two children with her first husband. LeBlanc's daughter is named Marina Pearl LeBlanc, and she was born in 2004 months before the Friends series finale aired. LeBlanc hasn't been married since his divorce from McKnight in 2006, although he has had a couple of long-term relationships in recent years. He most recently dated Aurora Mulligan from 2016 to 2021, and before that he was in a relationship with actress Andrea Anders for nine years.
3 Courteney Cox Was Married
Courteney Cox was famously married to actor David Arquette from 1998 to 2013. They split due to irreconcilable differences in 2010 and finalized their divorce three years later. The two remained friends afterward and continued to co-parent their daughter, Coco. They also went on to film new Scream movies together. The two met on the set of the first Scream movie in 1996. "We're co-parents to our daughter, so we have a really great relationship," Arquette told Yahoo! Entertainment. "We're friends, and we've communicated a lot because of Coco." Since their split, Cox has been engaged to her boyfriend Johnny McDaid, who is a member of the band Snow Patrol, although the two broke off their engagement in 2015. They eventually began dating again in 2016, but Cox has stated that they aren't engaged again.
2 Jennifer Aniston Has Been Married Twice
Jennifer Aniston was famously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005. Aniston then went on to marry actor Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2017. During the 2021 Friends reunion filmed for HBO Max, Aniston, and her co-star, Schwimmer, admitted to crushing on each other during the first season. Fans then began speculating whether or not the two former co-stars were dating. Aniston shut down the rumors in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. "That was bizarre," she said. "I could not believe that, actually. Like, really? That's my brother." Sounds like that crush she once had no longer exists.
1 Matthew Perry Has Never Been Married
Matthew Perry is the only cast member from Friends who has never been married. He was engaged to literary manager, Molly Hurwitz from 2020 to 2021. According to People, Perry stated that "sometimes things just don't work out and this is one of them. I wish Molly the best." The pair had been dating since 2018. Previous to his relationship with Hurwitz, Perry had been in a long-term relationship with fellow actress Lizzy Caplan for six years, from 2006 to 2012, which surprisingly flew under the radar.
